I recently worked with Goncalo on an animation project. He did a fantastic job. The brief required him to take complex information and display it in an understandable and visually appealing way. He succeeded and the results surpassed everyone's expectations. There are two reasons why I believe working with Goncalo was so rewarding. The first is that he is a talented designer and animator, you just have to look at his portfolio to see that. However, in science and technology projects, this is not enough. Goncalo has something extra and rare in creatives working in science and biotech. His entire approach to the animation project gave clarity at every stage, both from the planning and admin perspective, but also the animation and design. This is crucial with technically demanding briefs and it's not an easy thing to do. However, Goncalo was always methodical and patient leading clear expectations and an extremely enjoyable project.
